Rolly, I have already built it, so am not looking to switch. 3000fps with a 140gr in a 22" barrel is a LITTLE better than the standard 7-08. With a 4 percent gain in case capacity, it equates to 2 grains more powder. I figure it gets around 50-100 fps more. Not a ton, I will agree, but every little bit counts <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> We all want the most performance we can wring out of a cartridge. Furthermore, I am an Ackley fanatic, and as you know, cannot be helped <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> This little cartridge is big medicine in a small package for most of NA game IMHO. In order to have a 284 Win or 7 SUAM on that action requred lengthening or bolt face modifications. Plus, torching off a 7SUAM in a 6 pounder may be a little more of a handful than I am looking for. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> I appreciate the suggestions though.
