i have been keeping an eye on these post and i have to say i am going to turn my man card in if i ever have to ever sight in a 300 win. mag or a 300 Weatherby mag. again, i still sale guns but no more bigger magnums my shoulders and neck don`t care for these bigger cartridges anymore.these days a 30-06 is getting nasty too not sure how Mule Deer handles these bigger cartridges and he does many groups too with each rifle cartridges .
Pete-, I’m right with you on this. When I was young, it was a “so many cartridges, too little time” attitude. Now I’m happy for a good rifle in one of the standard cartridges.
