Speaking as an unbiased party-having no links to DFC or Charlie,I must say that Charlie backed out.DFC went to the trouble (that we know of for certain as it's confirmed by Charlie)of having the papers drawn up and faxed to Charlie's lawyer.Charlie did nothing but make a phone call or two, then backed out without even looking at the papers, claiming there was no use as they'd be "ridiculous" and impossible to deal with, even though he hasn't even looked at them.

This makes it very clear to me that Charlie was lying about the coin, and just wanted to see how far DFC would go.When he saw he'd go the whole way,he backed out.Claiming to not want to put $5,000 down for a literaly garunteed $100,000 by just providing some documents, sounds very fishy and not like someone who has $100,000 in the bank already.

Charlie was bluffing,DFC called it and won.Old Dan-o was right.
