I have a Lyman 358429 that’s a tick undersized, like my other Lyman molds. I think they deliberately undersized the from driving band in that model. I may need to try a stiffer charge if Unique under it, as 4.3 grains was about as stout as I went. I do like the bullet, it’s just another example of Lyman bastardizing Elmer’s original design.
I’ve had better luck getting the Lee 158RF to shoot very well out of my model 15 and my Det. Special, but there’s a few things I don’t like about that bullet as well (beveled base for one).
Next mold will either be an Arsenal 162RF or someone besides Lyman’s version of the 358429.
