I'm currently renewing my love affair with the .357 and since I've realized I have lots and lots of fast burning powder, I'm using it. Earlier this week I grabbed a can of IMR-Target, which is pretty much a twin to Bullseye, and dropped 6.0 gr. under a 173 gr. 358429. Velocity was right at 1100 fps from my 4 3/4" Uberti and my 12" gong at 75 yds. was stupid easy to hit.

I also have NOE's version of this that casts a gas-checked HP.

I cast s bunch of these several years ago from 20/1 alloy and tested them at .38 Special velocities in a water tub-

I probably need to stiffen that alloy up a bit for .357 velocities.
