Am I missing something here? No need to go one chambered and only one in the tube if using Hornady FTX bullets. They’re made for the task of being in the tube and safely firing the rifle…and with the right charge of Reloder 7 are quite accurate in my good friend’s Marlin 336 CS. Produced several DRT’s for him when he was using that rifle quite a bit. That load also shoots wonderfully in my 35 Rem Contender.
