Sorry to hear about the ongoing health issues your family is experiencing sir, it's so frustrating on so many levels.

Indeed my late sister in law went to Mexico for cancer treatments that she wasn't able to get up here at all. Now for sure it did finally take her, but it does seem to me she was with us for years longer than she'd have been without them.

Our healthcare system out here is in such dire straights that one of the only hospitals serving the entire south Okanagan - Oliver - which covers Keremeos, Cawston, Osoyoos and Anarchist Mtn plus all the rural folks in between - had it's ER shut down several times due to lack of staffing.

That said, some of this can be laid at the feet of the provincial NDP in power, but not all of it.

Let us hope for and continue to work toward better days ahead.

Our kids and grand kids deserve better than we're leaving them.
