They say it's cheaper to build the building without windows, or so I'm told.

Now that I think about it, the church in my neighborhood doesn't have windows, but a big one downtown does.
I don't know if it's true but I heard that it's because they got tired of fixing broken windows. They're a target for rock throwers.
