The M70 JES Custom will be called "Hammerella." No for-short nickname for her, since the name flows off the tongue like the thunder following a nearby lightning strike. She is the first rifle ever to kill a cape buffalo with a 404-gr Shock Hammer. It will be a while before I could consider loaning her to Jim Shockey for his HAND OF MAN MUSEUM ay Maple Bay, BC. He might have to add a new wing dedicated entirely to the .458 Winchester Magnum before I would consider it.
Go easy on Sir Jerry, he had a tornado pass 5 miles from his cattle ranch last night. He will be out doing the lumberjack job on a bunch of damaged hickory and oak trees.
