20-odd years ago, we all ran SGKs in our 300 WBYS. We had way too many ruined capes and complete loss of meat in areas stuck so gave up on them. I think I quit them the year before Barnes came out with the X bullet. My first 300 loved them so I shot them for years. I haven't had a rifle since that would shoot them very good so I haven't used them much in recent years (X bullets)
The Sierras are pretty explosive from a 300 WBY at less than 400 yds.
