I shot RL22 alot and it shot good groups at 100yds with the 208A-Max and 210gr Berger but the ES and SD were too high for long range shooting, the only other powder that shot close to the numbers of H1000 was RL25.
Shooting the gong at 1000yds the Berger 210gr VLD with H1000 is by far the best combo I have found in several 300WM's.
The 208gr A-Max's and RL25 are a good second choice. RL22 has worked awesome with the 200gr Accubond but not the 208gr or 210gr.
Do you use a good chronograph when testing ????

I have decent chrony, but nothing fancy, and it gets used every time I work up loads. The SD on my 208 A-max load was around 35fps. This was with RL22. I will add that this was done in the fall, with cooler temperatures. We are also fairly high here, altitude wise, at 3600 feet. I wonder if those two factors have more than a little to do with results?
