Man, you handled this a well as possible. I know you came here asking advice as to how to handle the situation, but you should be the one giving advice.
You have shown an incredible amount of restraint. I wouldn't have had the chance to address the lady because my kid's grandmother (my mom - Bigmomma) would have already dealt with this and nobody would have known.
