"Need" is a four letter word around here! laugh Heck, I have several .22s and had a couple of HMRs till I gave one to a buddy of mine, now I'm back to 1.5?, I guess. This rifle is completely superflous to "needs", but "wants" trump "need" these days.

I really like the HMRs when I go PDoggin'. When things slow down midday, it's fun to take one for a walk and pop a few dogs in a more leisurely fashion than hammering away at them with a .223 or .204.
The .22LR barrel will be used for plinking and maybe a few tree rats from time to time.
