We've looked at trying the new 1.8" case but mine (actually called the 358 Indiana Deer Cartridge) gets 2,550 to 2,570 fps easily with the 200 grain Hornady and 48 grains of Benchmark.
Some other guys do another barrel off the WSSM case and push the same bullet to 2,700. Personally I'm fine with the 2,550. Gives me plenty of velocity and energy out to 300 yards.
I am going to get a box of the new 180 TTSX and the 200 grain accubonds just to see if they will work in the WSSM mag box.
One of my pards has good luck with TAC also, I haven't tried it due to the amount of Benchmark we still have.
