My wife and I went to Stirling in 2009 and I found my GGGgrand fathers headstone in the cemetary beside the castle. Stirling is small enough you can walk to most places and old enough to see lots of cool stuff. It's only one hour by train from Edinburgh. Edinburgh has one gun shop.
