Folks in that top 1% club did not reach that level by looking for ways to dispose of their income. They look for ways to retain as much as possible. The wife and I used IRA's as a means of lowering out taxable income for years, and I see no crime in that. We stopped that effort entirely when they were no longer an advantage. Moving investments and returns out of country makes perfect fiscal sense. Most of us are just jealous that we're not saddled with the same issue.
