I figure a tight spun .277 w/heavies might 'Get R Done' on out yonder, w/less punch on the shooters clavicle, still bagging meat.

No, JOC's baby is highly capable in it's own right, though proper bullets and twists have been the only barrier to keeping it's own WAY out there, w/7s and 6.5s.
