I'd honestly love to twist one up and give it a good wringing out, but the only way I'll ever do up a .270 Mashburn is if we start seeing bright red boxes stamped 'Hornady A-Max' with '.277" 155gr' underneath.

I just like to shoot past 5-600 too often to not want a big sleek nasty wind slicker.


That right there is the reason I dislike .277s so much. I hunt 10 weeks a year, but shoot 52. So my guns need to hunt as well as shoot way out there.

Now most .27 lovers will say 'just order up a box of 150 VLDs'. But why pay 59.99$/100 when7mm 162 Amax's run 34.99$/100 up here and have better numbers?

Now like Tanner said...if Big Red ever makes a box labelled ".277 cal Amax"....then the convo will change laugh
