I'm not going to read the whole thread but I'm going to tell you what happened to a friend of mine in a similar situation. He saw his buddy's wife cheating on him and told his buddy. He was actually pretty good friends with both the husband and the wife. So, of course, he lost one friend because the wife immediately hated him. Then, after several months, husband and wife reconciled and soon, husband wouldn't talk to my friend either. So, he lost two friends over the deal and gained nothing...not even gratitude for telling his friend.
