I've got a Rem 700 Custom C with a 3-9 Zeiss Dia-vari in QRW rings, a Win 70 Alaskan with a 3.5-10 Leupold in Burris rings and a CZ 550 rebarrelled to .375 Weatherby carrying a 3.5-10 in Warne QDs. Theoretically I should change the Alaskan to QRWs some day.
They are all sighted for 200 yards with the scopes, and to the top of the bead at 100 with the irons. That drops to the center of the bead at 200. Scopes haven't come off on a hunting trip yet, but the back-up plan seems worthwhile anyway.

Life begins at 40. Recoil begins at "Over 40" Coincidence? I don't think so.
