Nope. I went through a discussion of what constituted bullying and that they were to walk away if possible. If cornered they were not to take a beating in fear of suspension. Bullies learned quickly that the good students would take a lot of abuse in fear of suspension and all I did was let them know that self defense was OK. It doesn't take a teacher long to figure who the bullies are.
