Do you guys tip the gas station attendant? How about the hardware store guy, your garage mechanic, your Dr., nurse, or your mailman? Nobody tips me and I've worked all my life. When is the last time you bought something and ADDED 20% to the price?
I don't understand your point. All the jobs you mention are for people who make at least minimum wage and many are likely significantly better. And since you're from NH, like me, you should know that your waiter or waitress is likely bringing home an hourly wage of $3.27/hr and relying on the tips for the remainder of their income.
