Originally I had every intention of making it this year, but the old hip ratcheted up the pain a couple notches which finally sent me to the orthopod for relief. Even though surgery is scheduled for after the fest, I couldn't endure an 18 hour drive, or even a flying/driving mix. I'll be channeling my presence through Ye Great Swami Grogel (Deluxe).
It's a shame too, because I have a couple bottles of single malt that have labels that say "Only to be drank after hours at a Savage Fest".
I wonder how that stuff will mix with the pain killers I know to be in my future? (Kidding!)
