I'm thinking it was a good idea to pull the old pump.

Very glad I drove down last Friday to check on the erosion.

Went back today and the river is way up. We checked the flow data online and it's running twice as much water as it was last week.

I got a little nervous thinking about the other pump upriver.

Major chit coming downstream, big logs and random debris and I was paranoid a snag floated down and hung up on the floater.

Luckily the spot is right off the main channel's path, positioned just behind a little bend and the junk shoots past about 50-100 yards away.

Not much room left though, hopefully the river has crested. The Milk must be fairly full to raise the Missouri this much.
