I think 10K is way over what you need. I have a 9K Warn on my 98 Dodge( 8000 lb) and it has done everything I ever needed, including winching the truck and a 20 ft Gooseneck out of the mud.

Remember a snatch block will double your pulling power.

Personally' I'd put an 8K winch on it and spend the money that the 10K would cost and mount the winch so it would fit into a reciever hitch.Then put a reciever hitch front and back on the jeep. Wire it for front and back with plugs instead of hardwire. Use a switch inside the cab to activate a solenoid to send power to the plugs. So they would not be hot all the time.

That would give the capability of pulling foreward or backwards as backwards is needed at times.
