I saw one exactly like that at Cabela's on Saturday.. The Remington 30s is just like beretzs said, a m1917 that was sporterized by Remington in the 20's and 30's. The 30s was a deluxe model of the Remington 30 and they were proof tested to 70,000 psi. They are a very strong design and work very well. Built like a tank and weigh quite a bit, but that's good when you throw a big cartridge like the 375 H&H into it. That should be a great user rifle.
