The 30s was a deluxe model of the Remington 30 and they were proof tested to 70,000 psi. They are a very strong design and work very well. Built like a tank and weigh quite a bit, but that's good when you throw a big cartridge like the 375 H&H into it. That should be a great user rifle. That's funny, you were at the Tualatin store? Did you handle it? I followed this rifle from the Lone Tree Colorado store and they shipped it to the Tualatin store for their grand opening. They finally called me Saturday afternoon and I bought it.

I'd be interested in whether this is indeed a wood stocked rifle...thanks.
