Kinda funny how people conclude that once they have their's (Wasilla exists thanks to the Fed Gov's railroad into the interior) that the rest should go it 'on their own'. (Wasillians weren't flushing toilets or commuting to Ship Creek before the railroad showed up either.)
BTW that same railroad killed some rather thriving business and communities all up and down the Yukon - river traffic .....(not government sponsored either)- which supported business in the interior. Anchorage won the big jackpot in that deal
