My favourite medium bore is my Ruger #1H in 405 Winchester. Why? Well, in the #1 platform, I get a 300 grain bullet going downrange at 2450 ft/sec. It's old and powerful enough at medium ranges for any and all game animals in North America, including the Sasquatch.
