That was my thoughts too, but your '95 .30/03 rifle is marked ".30 US MOD 1903.", not "Govt".
Winchester labeled their ammo a bit different too. That bottom box kaywoodie posted is ".30-220 Caliber". That's alot of powder behind a .30 bullet! crazy


Yes it's simple 30/40 ammo. 220 is the bullet weight. Cases are marked .30 Army.
