2"-4" with a wind "switch" is easy to see with just a slight breeze. Now if you are dealing with a quartering wind of any kind, especially blowing at you, all bets are off.
It has always amazed me how most shooters are so ill informed of how the wind effects shooting. Many will spend hundreds on a set of dies to get precision loaded ammo, and be shooting in the "dark" when it comes to one of the very greatest factors-Wind!
