For quite some time they have run full synthetics for all lubes. Not sure about 99 but the owners manual should tell you. Big balls buying one with that mileage.
Shoulda jumped for a Svenske-made machine instead. They have their own special price-point with respect to repairs, but at least they don't need much and they last lonnngg.
