That's crossed my mind! About two years ago I pulled one of those Providence sights off of a kids tang safety new 95. Also put a higher blade on his tang safety carbine. But he wouldn't part with that climbin' sight. Go figure.
Suppose I'll just stick with the stock sight for now.
