No, I've discussed it with a few knowledgeable gents here on the 'fire before and came to the conclusion I have a fast barrel and long throat on this rifle, 48 grs of IMR-4350 gets my rifle there, a 100 count brass lot is on it's third firing without any undue signs of overstress.


Interesting. That load would generate around 2400fps in any 7x57 I loaded for and the longer throat usually reduces velocity, rather than enhancing it.
