I used to think paint prep work was the worst part. This is one project where I can see you thinking, man I can't wait until I can prep for paint!
I am duly impressed. To say you'll know the Mach 1 inside and out by the end of the project will be an understatement.

Good arch supports, so your weight is carried by your whole foot not just your heel and ball of your foot.
Thanks for sharing the work in progress!

Here's a chunk that came off that rocker. B pillar repairs. I decided to fill in the triangle hole in the inner door frame. There is no functional purpose and a little more strength next to the drivers seat should be OK. There, one step closer to quarter panels.

That's the way the exhaust was when they got the car.
I don't think its going to stay that way.

Did I mention it needs a Paxton? nothing on earth needs one of those garbage blowers, Vortech or go home. Buddy of mine had a Hertz Shelby (GT350H) with a Paxton that I drove many years ago, it ran pretty darn good for a blow through set up. Another buddy has a Vortech on a Keith Craft 347 in a fox body, runs like a bat, but the Vortech is so noisy (even at idle) I wouldn't have it. Have another buddy with a BMW M3 with the Active Autowerke "Prima Plus" supercharger system, it screams and is quiet even at 8+ pounds of boost. I think a Paxton just looks better, on a vintage mustang, than a more modern supercharger.
