Southwind nice rifle and nice Kansas buck! Thanks BobinNH, I really love hunting that 270 fwt. I also felt fortunate to bag a buck here this year. The deer were really on a night time pattern I caught mine 6 minutes into legal shooting light. Muskegman & sbrmike, outstanding hunts....love the photos and rifles. Thanks for posting!

Season here is getting into the short rows. I shot this young buck yesterday with my M88 in 308 WIN.

Snuck up a killed a nice fat button buck in the foggy mist with the old '71 I bought from BSA, 55 yards through the bolt peep ended his worldly concerns, the heavy jacketed 250 gr Barnes caught him on the point of the left shoulder to predictably exit rib cage opposite side, BOOM and down.

SW and KW, I did send a cell pic to BSA's phone, I unloaded my belt rig carrying an old 45 Colt SAA and laid it right alongside the old '71 on the deer, full disclosure, I did think that was a monster doe in the fog, glad I had one remaining tag left for either buck or doe.
