Ford went to a one piece sparkplug sometime in 2008. My 2008 F-150 has one piece spark plugs. If you go on the F-150 forum there are threads there explaining how tell. I do know that there is a code on the coil packs the is different between the two.

I always wondered how Democrats get elected, but now I see.

My buddy bought a kit from Snap-On for taking out the broken plugs. It was pretty spendy but cheaper than labor and u can sell it on Ebay later on. He snapped every plug off on his wifes expedition

My V10 could likely use new plugs. Around 145k I think.

CEL came on when it started running rough with a high surging idle. Turned out it was just the pcv hose had a hole.

Runs great again, but the plugs are always kinda on mind.

My mechanic changed mine for me at 120,000
They looked like new. You might as well change the coils to if you are doing it yourself or can get a discount on them.

Too bad you'll only get another 100-150k miles before you have to do it again.....

Replacing frames is way easier........grin

Holy chit Fireball, put down the Chardonnay and think about this chit.

And PS, spark plugs are easy and cheap compared to injectors.

Those POS diesels anyway!

Sorry, I got kinda fired up there for a minute.

Tune-up versus frame replacement was pretty [bleep]' though!

Fireball must have an uber dry sense of humor, for a minute I actually thought he was serious.

I use Champion frames. Pep Boys usually has them on sale.
