Pre-market trading has GUSH down 6.75% and UCO down 13.78%.Kitco has crude down over $6. Maybe oil is topping out or just taking a short rest?

Diesel was 4.14 and they raised to 5.19 in one pop yesterday. Thankfully I topped off just before the jump.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

Clear diesel was 4.79 last night. That made it just over a dollar more than it was 7 days ago.

Don't worry about the high gas prices. They won't stay here when the economy crashes. They can't, and they never do in a crash, because if they did they'd never turn inventory and last I heard, no inventory turn means no profits.

Diesel's been around $3.80 in Helena for quite a while. Just made a trip to Lake Havasu and diesel was $4.00 - 4.50 everywhere south of here. It's now over $4.00 here since we got back, so about $.30 increase this week. FJB... Up again - over $4.20 this morning... ...and up again overnight - $4.60 this morning. $4.99 this morning...

Never thought I would see Diesel over $5/gal in south Tennessee, but today it happened. I paid $3.05/gal on January 4th of this year. Today I had to pay $5.39/gal. Thats $2.34 more per gal in just over two months. If you have a twenty gallon tank and fill up once a week, that will cost you $2,400 more to use your truck a year. Double that for those still working and have to fill up twice a week. And that is after tax money. This economy is getting ready to come to a screeching halt and prices for everything are going to be outrageously priced.

I only go to town about once a week but have kept up with things enough to expect that fuel prices may be up a bit, as but when I went in yesterday I was more than a bit surprised. Last week 85 octane was $3.49 - yesterday it was $4.39, diesel is up to $4.89. We only have two stations and they were both the same prices. It won't be long before we will see $5.00 gas here.

Don't know.
Not that I do not care, but the price has no bearing at this time on me and my work. I have work to do and it has to be done. So I fill up, write the mileage, gallons and cost down and put the little book away.
I know gas is approaching $4. I know that this weekend we are probably going to take a 1000+ mile roundtrip to look at some livestock.
Gas isn't going to get in the way of work or extracurricular events for us thankfully. But that doesn't mean it couldn't at some price point in the future.
