Another way I see the manufacture and sale of firearms parts in particular being restricted is by online payment systems like paypal. I am currently getting a new website made for my business and I sell two items that are firearms related. According to the policy of paypal I can't use their service and do that. I divorced paypal 2 years ago so it doesn't matter but it's telling the direction things are heading.

I have a friend who bought partially finished Gen 3 Glock frames that he finished himself, then purchased aftermarket parts. No serial number and it’s perfectly legal.
I don’t understand what the big deal is myself… except that Big Brother doesn’t know he has THAT gun. Isn’t like they don’t know he has a bunch more…
I’d be interested to hear the stats on the number of crimes committed with these “ghost guns”. I’m sure it’s as overwhelmingly high a percentage as those committed with ARs… that is, so utterly minuscule as to be laughable.
I’d say it’s a catchphrase to scare the ignorant… According to MrGunsNGear, what they're doing is padding that crime statistic (the number of "ghost guns" being used in crime) by incorrectly including firearms that have had their serial numbers removed. Of course those have nothing to do with what we think of as "ghost guns" (a BS term to start with), but it serves their political purpose (inflating the numbers) to demonize homemade firearms.
