Don't know how "lightweight" it is, but here is my Ruger MKII .338 Win Mag. (Along with a Ruger #1 in .280 Rem.) The .338 WM has a 22" barrel. Very happy with the way the .338 turned out and how it shoots.



Here is my other long range rig, an Interarms Mark X action, Krieger barrel, Timney trigger, Boyd stock,6.5-06AI:

Top one up to around Up to about 600/700 yds,7-300 Wby,anyrhing above that the heavy weght 30-378.

Don't know if this applies as "long range" but I made a 600 yard one shot kill on my buck yesterday with my FN PBR XP 300wsm..... Had it zeroed at 240 yards, dialed up 32 clicks to make the shot, waited for the wind to die down a bit, held right on and it was bang flop.....

...........Well it so happens that I received an interesting PM from a source here on the Fire who shall remain anonymous, which was sent to me during the tail end of the "Accumark" thread. I did PM the source back and asked for more detail, and to make sure this was in fact true.

Try and take things in more moderation though. I wouldn`t want you driving around on Prince Wales Island up there and as a result wind up accidentally injuring or killing anybody.

That might possibly explain a great many of your wonderful postings and might explain your wonderful "pop-cicle and bozo the clown/circus type" paint jobs on your rifles??
