I've been using the 300WM for about 20 years and I've used a few loads over the years. I started with:

Win cases
Win WLRM primer
71gr. IMR -4350
180gr. Hornady SP
This load was 3080fps in a 24" barrel

Then I went to:

Win cases
Fed 215 primer
76gr. RL 22
180gr. Speer Grand Slam
This load is 3125fps out of my 26" Rem 700.

Current do everything load is:

Win cases
78gr. RL22
168gr. gr TTSX
This load is 3220 out of the same Rem 700 with less than 1" groups.

These all have killed deer and elk reliably. Sorry no light bullet loads. I have other rifles for that.
