180 Speer Grand Slam, 75 grains of H4841 for 3050 fps.
As I recall, Rick Jamison had written on more than one occasion that this charge with whatever 180 grainer he happened to want at the moment was his ‘go-hunting’ load for the 300. It has shot well enough in the 300s I’ve used to see where he probably wasn’t wrong.
