I agree. It Might not have looked like a nice bedding job but doubt it was in obvious stress.
You fuggin know it all rifle/bedding experts are funny as hell. Never saw a rifle with upward barrel pressure at the forend tip shoot good ? You don't think the action can be tightened down into the stock of such a rifle without putting stress on it do you ?
