I got my rifle back after sending it back to MRC. It is absolutely flawless. It is perfect. Fit and finish is perfect. Everything that was wrong with it is now fixed. Thank you SAS for the excellent customer service and talking to the guys at MRC about fixing my rifle was so painless. They had my rifle in hand as they talked to me and could see everything I didn't like. They fixed it and sent it back. It looks like they gave me a completely different rifle.
