I can't complain. At 6:00 AM I put about 1/2 cup of ice cubes in my 30 oz cup and fill it with water.

By 7:00 Am it is sitting on my desk at at work at 90 degree ambient temp.
By 9:00 The water is gone and I add two cans of diet Coke from the fridge. By noon I add another two cans of diet Coke from the fridge.
By 1:00 PM the ice is gone, but the soda is still quite cool at 3:00 PM.

It does not quite compare to a good Stanley thermos bottle, but it is a lot handier and still does well enough.


The only thing that goes in tumblers is 90 proof whiskey or coffee.


1979: I partied a bit too hard one night with a frisky lady. I was hung over for three days.

I have not been able to abide the taste of distilled spirits since. And never could aquire a taste for the flavor of coffee. Actually I distinctly dislike the flavor of hops while I am thinking about it.


So I guess it will just be ice water and cola around here.
