I'm sorry I don't have a picture, but I have an 1851 Navy Colt that came down through the family, supposedly carried in combat during the Civil War by my Great or Great Great (?) Uncle who I'm named after. He was killed in action, shot out of the saddle by a Reb sniper.

Another "cool factor" thing I have is a pair of Nazi Ziess binoculars my dad brought back from Italy. Dad served under General Patton. As the story goes, Dad's unit was being held up by a Nazi pill box guarding a choke point they needed to clear. They finally were able to knock it out, and dad took these binoculars off a German officer who'd been killed in the action. Dad said at the time, the German "glass" was the best available and highly prized by our guys. The binoculars are still sealed, don't fog, and are fully useable.
