No picture of it on this computer, but in 2003, about a month before he passed away, my brother gave me a 4-digit Remington M24 short-only (gallery gun).
I think it's been reblued, as it's pretty nice, but the forestock has been replaced.
I'll get a pic of it shortly, I kinda like it, though I can barely shoot it since there's no provision for scoping. My eyes don't play so well with irons any longer.
The throat on this thing seems to extend halfway down the barrel, it was used, and used HARD, in its day. Still shoots pretty fair, for all the wear, though.
