My friend's griffon does not retrieve, just stays with the bird.

Does yours retrieve well?



At about 10 months she had some hiccups with full retrieves. She would drop about 10 feet away from me.

I went back to basics and reintroduced live birds and used praise and food as a reward and with in a week she again was loving to do retrieves


She loves to retrieve ducks, pheasants etc

she has done a few long distance retrieves on wounded ducks and on chukar. couldn't be happier with her
