YOu might want to look at an Academy hunt. There are lots of those in the black belt.
I hunt a pretty good sized chunk of land and have hunted early december, late December/January and the first 5 days of February and hunting has been fabulous. Well this year it sucked it rained so hard not even ducks were seen.
