What scope recommendations do folks here have for the Marlin .45-70 GBL? I'm thinking mainly of the power, more than brand, but brand recommendations are OK, too.

I think I have a Nikon Monarch 3-9 around here somewhere? Not sure that would be a good scope for this gun. Also wondering about mounts.

What are your thoughts?
